When you install Steam on the new PC, install Oblivion from there, then just copy over the Oblivion folder you backed up to the new installation, replacing any files and adding the modded ones. Not too hard, you could probably install the game on other pc and move data folder over there with all the mods intact. Save files are also pretty easy. If you're on steam you can just sync saves with the cloud. Dont forget those ini files in docs/my games/oblivion.
17 wrz 2012 · You can simply move the contents of the archive ("meshes", "textures", esp files) from your extraction folder into your "Data", folder when there's no "Data" folder needlessly wrapped around them. OBMM can decipher those package structures and locates the actual files and folders inside such a bogus "Data" folder.
Locate you save files folder (usually in User\Documents\My games). Move the folder to Dropbox and delete/rename the original folder. Create a symbolic link ("symlink") from the old folder location to the new on all computers using the following command (from Command prompt):
You will need to reinstall Oblivion and wyre bash at the very least so that windows knows they are installed in the registry. Once that is done, you should be okay to the copy the data folder over. Consider backing up Oblivion after you install it before adding mods if you haven't already.
24 lip 2019 · On the other hand, if you create a Documents folder on your alternate drive, you can right-click the one on your SSD, select Properties, and then use the Location panel to redirect the whole thing - Windows will offer to move all the existing content while it's at it.
