Firstly, with Wryebash and Oblivion Mod Manager and the like, you will not need to personally mess with the data folder. These programs will add and remove files from the data folder by activating and deactivating the mods. That's what makes them so great. Download mod Open downloads folder and drag archive into the wryebash tab called installers.
17 wrz 2012 · There are cases where a "Data" folder is required inside your archive though, for example when the mod contains more than just plugins and resource files but also executables like "obse_loader.exe" or other things which need to go into "Oblivion" directly instead of "Oblivion/Data".
19 lut 2015 · It will be easier and faster if you just copy your Oblivion folder from your "My Games" folder ("C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Games\Oblivion"). That one has your saves and configuration files, or maybe just the "Saves" folder inside the "Oblivion" folder if you want to backup only your save files.
When you install Steam on the new PC, install Oblivion from there, then just copy over the Oblivion folder you backed up to the new installation, replacing any files and adding the modded ones.
If that works, run any tool through MO2 itself and it should create LOD files based off of your modlist. Doing this, the output will be saved to your Overwrite folder. From there, you should be able to create a new mod from any data in that folder and activate it like any normal mod.
21 lip 2009 · Well, if you copied the Data file that was in it, and copied it into the oblivion directory, you should have been fine. You can use 7-zip, or do it manually, which ever you choose. Manual might be easy in this case. Copy The Music/Textures/Meshes and copy them in the data file. Play the game, and it should work.
