24 lip 2019 · On the other hand, if you create a Documents folder on your alternate drive, you can right-click the one on your SSD, select Properties, and then use the Location panel to redirect the whole thing - Windows will offer to move all the existing content while it's at it.
17 wrz 2012 · First thing you should do is back up your Oblivion/Data directory (just copy it to another location); it can save you a ton of headaches if a mod overwrites files you didn't want it to. Learned this myself the hard way back when I first started using mods for Morrowind.

20 lis 2018 · If you decide to use a USB or CD, just make the new folder on them instead of your hard drive. And of course, there is no reason not to keep a copy of your backup in both places. To restore the data – always copy, never move the \data folder back into the Oblivion folder.

7 wrz 2007 · The idea is that windows has an %appdata% path (‘C:\Documents and Settings [username]\Application Data’ by default, although you can change it via tweakui), which allows multiple users to have their own settings, and in the case of games, saves without affecting other users on the same computer.
