23 gru 2014 · The game appears to run just fine. I took a look in the data files out of curiosity when I noticed that the "Oblivion.esm" master file is unchecked, but all the DLC is checked. Should I just ignore this? or check it?
13 cze 2013 · When I hit data files it gives me the option to check. "DLCShivering Isles.esp" (player file) "knights.esp" (player file) "oblivion.esm (master file) The oblivion master file in unchecked and the game still runs properly, the other two have been checked.
23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
9 wrz 2023 · Turn off the cloud and disable any mods, then, delete the three data files and the "saves" folder in the Oblivion Data folder. (blendsettings, Oblivion, Renderinfo). Launch the game and save then exit and turn the cloud back on.
13 lut 2015 · C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion by default if your using Win7 x64 C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion if your using 32-bit. Data folder will be in there.
You could try verifying the game cache files in the steam properties window for oblivion Steam > Oblivion > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files. This is to see if this stops the save game corruption, hopefully it just syncs your save to the steam cloud when you exit the game as normal and the next boot is okay. I have ...
If you want, you could move the Data folder to a temporary location. Then run the Setup from the disc and see if Oblivion auto-repairs. If it repairs itself, it will make a new Data folder...
