When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
18 kwi 2012 · I can't find any of my saved mods in the Oblivion data file. It comes up on the data menu of the game launcher, but I can't find the .esp file itself. I've tried saving it in a subfolder in the data folder, with the same results, and it won't let me save it under any other folder.
When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
The easiest way to track down unregistered BSA files is to sort your Oblivion/Data folder by file type. Your default BSA files should be obvious: Oblivion.bsa, Oblivion-Meshes.bsa, Oblivion-Misc.bsa, Oblivion-Sounds.bsa, etc. If you have any DLC, the assicated BSA files will have "DLC" at the beginning of the filename: DLCHorseArmor.bsa ...
This morning i booted up oblivion and all my save files were gone. Knowing this i checked my save file path directory in the oblivion.ini and it is in the appropriate path that i will show below: C:\Users\Markz\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves

If you want, you could move the Data folder to a temporary location. Then run the Setup from the disc and see if Oblivion auto-repairs. If it repairs itself, it will make a new Data folder...
