I've tried moving my current Oblivion mod setup to my new Steam Deck, and I did so by copying the files from my desktop Data folder to the Data folder on my Deck's /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion directory.
23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
5 gru 2022 · Try verifying your Oblivion installation (Oblivion library entry -> right click -> Properties -> Local Files, then select "Verify". When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
BSAs registered in the INIs do not have to be in the data folder, or even on the same HDD. The fastest way for the game to find files is in uncompressed BSAs, BSAs packed with "no compression." BSAs count toward the soft cap of 300-400 total plugins and BSAs (before your game goes haywire.)
29 paź 2023 · First, if you haven't already, simply close Wabbajack and retry the install. It keeps all your progress and will try to get the files it failed to download before. This usually fixes those errors. If that doesn't work, place these archives in your downloads folder of your Heartland install: Kvatch Guard Features Devastation Redux Patch ...
20 lis 2018 · The problem with this is that the mod selector under 'Data files' in the Oblivion launcher lists mods alphabetically - good to find and choose the mods you want to use, but doesn't tell you the order they are loaded in.
