23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
When it doesn't, the thing it's most likely to do is lose track of files - meshes, for instance. Use OBMM or Wrye Bash instead. They're both made specifically to work with Oblivion and they do work with Oblivion, all the time and with no problems (other than user error). Reply.
I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
5 gru 2022 · Try verifying your Oblivion installation (Oblivion library entry -> right click -> Properties -> Local Files, then select "Verify". When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
29 sty 2011 · My only advice at the moment would be to compleetely uninstall oblivion, restart your computer, re-install it and that should take care of the missing files issue. You might want to also look through the thread below.
27 kwi 2022 · I've tried moving my current Oblivion mod setup to my new Steam Deck, and I did so by copying the files from my desktop Data folder to the Data folder on my Deck's /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion directory.
