For this I use Oblivion Mod Manager or OBMM. To install mods there, find the OBMM folder on your computer and find the folder labeled Mods (iirc) and then drop the archive in there. Then, when you go to your OBMM you will see the mod, labeled with a red mark to show its not installed.
The Data folder is the directory to which mods are installed. After installing Oblivion, you will find in here a few BSAs containing most of the game's resources (i.e., meshes, textures and sound files) as well as some of the default folders: Shaders, Music and Video.
26 kwi 2008 · Mods are placed in the data subfolder in the oblivion folder, C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\data The rest of the files are located in another 'Oblivion' folder that contains the saved games and the Oblivion.ini file.
20 lis 2018 · Extract the files so that the files (esp, bsa, etc.) and the folders (meshes, textures, sounds, etc.) are in the Oblivion data folder (\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data). Activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp/esm. You have now installed a mod. Congratulations!
20 lis 2018 · C:\games\Oblivion\Data\ If you're not sure where you installed it, one easy way to locate the folder is to go to your desktop, right-click on the Oblivion icon, select Properties, and select the Shortcut tab. The path to your main Oblivion directory is shown in the "Start in" box.
OBMM has to be installed in Oblivion's install folder. The default OMODs folder is Oblivion/obmm/mods, and it can be changed via the Settings menu. OBMM has a lot of useful features among its 'Batch actions', 'Import/Export' and 'Utilities' submenus.
