I also tried right clicking the oblivion desktop icon and there is no open file location option.The bethesda softworks folder is missing as well. Do I have to uninstall the game, make a new folder, or do i use the data files in the startup menu instead? (Windows 7 64x)
This file is of little use beyond providing a quick way to figure out which version of Oblivion is running. By right-clicking on the file to open its context menu, the version number can be found under the "Details" (Win7/Vista) or "Version" (XP) tab. Oblivion Data Folder . 20 lis 2018 · Create a text file named "ArchiveInvalidation.txt" in your main Oblivion folder. This is not the "Data" folder, but is one level up from that, in the same folder with OblivionLauncher.exe and Oblivion.exe. The reason for placing it here is primarily to avoid accidentally overwriting it when you install a new mod.

In Windovs Operation sistem, right click Oblivion Dekstop icon and selectt propertis /Open File Location. On Vista and W7 OS, right click Oblivion Dekstop icon and select Open File Location.
19 kwi 2008 · Extract all files to c:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivion\data. When you are asked to overwrite files under meshes and textures, select ‘yes to all’. Finally, if you prefer to use the Always Z’s fantastic WTF missing mesh, you can go into the WTF with Collision directory and copy the Meshes folder into your data directory.
