3 cze 2020 · The first problem with this is that steam is located in program files, which in windows vista and up, is controlled by UAC (User Access Control). UAC prevents modification to files in protected folders which seriously hampers the ability to mod Oblivion.
The most likely reason for your crash is that you didn't install the OBSE in the correct place. The downloaded obse_0021.zip file should be uncompressed into the "\Oblivion" root folder. Make sure "obse_steam_loader.dll" and "obse_1_2_416.dll" are in the root Oblivion fodler (the same place as Oblivion.exe).
4 kwi 2010 · You must run it with the Boss.bat and not the exe file. Both of these must be in the data folder. There must already be a data list - either from the game or OBMM for it to work with. The first time it runs if there is no modlist.txt it should make one.
17 maj 2022 · I have installed under WIN 10 system both the Nvapi.dll and D3dx9_43.dll files which were not present. DEP is currently set to ONLY WINDOWS and system files. I have already tried OBSE 21.0 which didn't help.
9 wrz 2023 · Turn off the cloud and disable any mods, then, delete the three data files and the "saves" folder in the Oblivion Data folder. (blendsettings, Oblivion, Renderinfo). Launch the game and save then exit and turn the cloud back on.
5 gru 2022 · Try verifying your Oblivion installation (Oblivion library entry -> right click -> Properties -> Local Files, then select "Verify". When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
