10 lip 2022 · might be missing some old libraries that the game needs and may have failed to install. go to folder...\steam\steam\apps\common\oblivion\directx and run dxsetup.exe with admin permission. use repair option if there is one. run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.
when I launch Oblivion in Steam, after a few seconds the launcher shows up and all the options are available, but when I press Play it says “The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. 9 wrz 2013 · The easiest way to fix this without deleting your oblivion.ini file (by doing would delete any good changes you've made) is to go into the My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/oblivion.ini find iSize W= and iSize H= and change the values to the correct ones.
