I've tried moving my current Oblivion mod setup to my new Steam Deck, and I did so by copying the files from my desktop Data folder to the Data folder on my Deck's /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion directory.

When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
Chances are, your game is failing to launch due to a missing master file; a mod-file which one of your mods depends on. Take your time and do your reading. Best of luck
20 lis 2018 · Depending on which mod you are unzipping, it should have an .esp file (looks like a swiss army knife), a "Meshes" folder, a "Textures" folder, and lastly a README file. Sometimes mods will have all their files placed into mock directory folders, like so:
BSAs registered in the INIs do not have to be in the data folder, or even on the same HDD. The fastest way for the game to find files is in uncompressed BSAs, BSAs packed with "no compression." BSAs count toward the soft cap of 300-400 total plugins and BSAs (before your game goes haywire.)
