11 sie 2010 · The game will look for anything that's in your Data folder first, and use it if it's there. If it's not, it will look at the .bsa. Therefore, all you need to do is delete the "replacer" files.
To reset your game to default right click on Oblivion in Steam and select delete content, then find any remnant files in your steamapps common folder. Delete the Oblivion folder to be sure the mod and anything it altered is erased.
If you used Steam delete your data folder and tell it to check the integrity of local files. It will download all the files the game is missing.
If you wish to reset your save game folder go to the location they are in: For XP this will be C:\Documents and settings\user name\my documents\my games\Oblivion. For Vista or Win7 C:\users\user name\my documents\my games\Oblivion
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.

19 kwi 2020 · You need to completely annihilate Oblivion. Completely and irreversibly delete every file on your hard drive/SSD that is related to Oblivion. Ruthlessly search down every file, folder, and BA2 file that may have something in common with Oblivion, and then obliterate it.
