5 gru 2022 · Try verifying your Oblivion installation (Oblivion library entry -> right click -> Properties -> Local Files, then select "Verify". When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
17 wrz 2012 · You don't put "Data" into "Data", "meshes" into "meshes", "textures" into "textures" or any arbitrally named folder containing "Data", "meshes", "textures" or ESPs/ESMs into "Data", or likely the mod will not find those files.
When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
Data Directory[edit] Oblivion's shared data files, including: mod data files, BSA archives, separate resource files (meshes, textures, etc.) English Default: Install Directory \Data. Location determined by SLocalMasterPath in Oblivion.ini, which is "Data\" by default.
27 kwi 2022 · Check that you didn't make a double data folder (ie. copied to Oblivion/data/data instead of just Oblivion/data ) - Sometimes when copying it will place it into a new folder in data instead of merging into the existing data folder and then the game will not find the files.
If you want, you could move the Data folder to a temporary location. Then run the Setup from the disc and see if Oblivion auto-repairs. If it repairs itself, it will make a new Data folder...
Make sure "obse_steam_loader.dll" and "obse_1_2_416.dll" are in the root Oblivion fodler (the same place as Oblivion.exe). Make sure that "obse.ini" is in the "Oblivion\Data\OBSE" folder. Then launch Oblivion through steam.
