Make sure you installed OBSE and Blockhead correctly. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_loader.exe and (if you have steam, obse_steam_loader.dll) the Data folder to your Oblivion directory.
Make sure that you installed obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll, and the Data folder into your Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Make sure the Steam overlay is activated.
12 lip 2020 · I tried loading through an older OBSE launcher (because the newest one doesn't let me [steam community overlay glitch thing]) and tried saving but it still only made an .ESS save file. I also tried checking for the OBSE.ini in the Oblivion>Data>Obse folder but it wasn't there.
Download Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) to the Oblivion folder; Extract it there. (It will add a folder containing the OBSE files.) Copy the following up into the Oblivion folder: "obse_1_2_416.dll", "obse_editor_1_2.dll", and "obse_loader.exe." If you use the Steam version, move "obse_steam_loader.dll" as well.
The most likely reason for your crash is that you didn't install the OBSE in the correct place. The downloaded obse_0021.zip file should be uncompressed into the "\Oblivion" root folder. Make sure "obse_steam_loader.dll" and "obse_1_2_416.dll" are in the root Oblivion fodler (the same place as Oblivion.exe).
19 cze 2020 · I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
31 sie 2021 · In this case, I'm told that OBSE is working properly if, after saving my game, I can find both an .obse and an .ess file in my saved games folder. My game is installed here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion
