Are you sure you don't have a second folder somewhere else? For example, when I first installed Sims 4 on one of my computers, Origin created a D:\Program Files (x86) folder and put a Sims 4 folder inside in addition to installing the full game inside D:\Games, which is where I'd told it to install.
Firstly, with Wryebash and Oblivion Mod Manager and the like, you will not need to personally mess with the data folder. These programs will add and remove files from the data folder by activating and deactivating the mods. That's what makes them so great. Download mod Open downloads folder and drag archive into the wryebash tab called installers.

to use mods, you always need to add them to the user data folder. by default, the game creates this in local Documents, or you might find an Electronic Arts folder in the OneDrive equivalent if you're using that to sync.

After awhile of trying to figure out what was happening I found that after upgrading Windows 10 Sims 4 is now looking for the folder at C:\Users\My Name\Pictures\Documents\Electronic Arts. For now I've copied the Sims 4 folder to that location and have all my saves and settings back.
6 lut 2023 · I'm trying to install a lighting mod, and I'm being told I need to open my data and delta folders to put the mod files into them, but I can't find the folders anywhere. I've searched for them in the sims 4 folder, the EA folder, and they don't seem to exist.
