Extract the files so that the files (esp, bsa, etc.) and the folders (meshes, textures, sounds, etc.) are in the Oblivion data folder (\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data).

This is a utility for managing plugins, and also for packing them for distribution. It can be used either as an enhanced version of the oblivion launcher's data files selector, or as a more advanced mod manager when mods are specially packed into omod files.

9 kwi 2014 · Decompress the mods inside the "Data" folder of the game, and then activate the mods in "Data Files" from the launcher. Although I recommend using the program Oblivion Mod Manager to arrange properly the loading order (each official DLC followed by its unofficial patch mod and files).
Install the Game[edit] Run Oblivion's setup. Windows 7 and Vista users should choose an install directory outside of the program files folder to escape the UAC's overprotection. Choose a custom folder, a folder that does not already exist on the drive, to ensure that the UAC does not control it.
