Make sure that you installed obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll, and the Data folder into your Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Make sure the Steam overlay is activated.
12 lip 2020 · I tried loading through an older OBSE launcher (because the newest one doesn't let me [steam community overlay glitch thing]) and tried saving but it still only made an .ESS save file. I also tried checking for the OBSE.ini in the Oblivion>Data>Obse folder but it wasn't there.
I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
2 sie 2010 · 1.) Go to Add/remove programs and uninstall Oblivion (If it shows on the list). If the add/remove procedure results in an error - skip to the next step and continue as it will still remove the game with the remaining steps. 2.)
Make sure "obse_steam_loader.dll" and "obse_1_2_416.dll" are in the root Oblivion fodler (the same place as Oblivion.exe). Make sure that "obse.ini" is in the "Oblivion\Data\OBSE" folder. Then launch Oblivion through steam.
31 sie 2021 · Make sure Oblivion is selected on the left, and check the box that says Force load libraries (*). Click the Configure Libraries button next to the check box. A Force Load Settings window will pop up.
3 gru 2023 · When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
