9 wrz 2023 · Turn off the cloud and disable any mods, then, delete the three data files and the "saves" folder in the Oblivion Data folder. (blendsettings, Oblivion, Renderinfo). Launch the game and save then exit and turn the cloud back on.
when I launch Oblivion in Steam, after a few seconds the launcher shows up and all the options are available, but when I press Play it says “The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion.” To be clear, they are in the same folder: …/steamapps/common/Oblivion.
11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries. Once that is done which will take a couple of minutes then you can reinstall and should have much better luck.
The game is able to launch just fine after doing this, but the problem is now it can't find the Data folder: when I go into the launcher menu and click data files it gives me an error that says "unable to find any data files" and suggests reinstalling the game outright.
22 gru 2010 · Did you try downloading Oblivion Mod Manager, putting it in your Oblivion folder and starting the game up with it instead of the original .exe? My original .exe does the same thing (ie, can't find the game data and such) and I just launch it with OBMM and Script Extender.
19 cze 2020 · I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
