Objectivism when it all began thirty and forty years ago—a look toward the past—and also a look toward the future: What do I see as some of the chal-lenges? What do I see as some of the dangers? What do I see as some of the opportunities? Where do I think Objectivism is going, or where do I think it could be going?
There is an important difference, of course, between subjectivism and objectivism, but it is not one that excludes subjectivists from ascribing intrinsic or final value to things. My main aim here, however, is not to argue that these notions are available to subjectivists.
