Optima is kind of a crappy card. $49 AF, no rewards, no product change and doesn’t seem to have a CL upgrade ability. I’ve applied for good cards recently after paying off the last account. Amex’s platform still won’t give me one (I haven’t tried recon yet)

The Optima Oasis card is invitation only, for those who are trying to get back into AMEX's good graces after an account cancellation or settlement; The card's credit limit will be significantly lower than what you've previously had across your AMEX accounts, mine was $900 (10% of what I previously owed)
17 lip 2020 · What Benefits/Earning Rates Does This Card? Like most cards aimed at those with poor credit this card doesn’t come with any real benefits for the $49 annual fee. It’s also not a rewards earning card. American Express has a called 'American Express Optima' (not to be confused with the rumored American Express Optio card).
23 sty 2022 · Hands down for CSP -- much lower annual fee and easier to breakeven. In addition, if you already have AmEx Gold + Plat, its good to have a CSP for hotel booking, lyft, commute, and boost your points from CFU. Amex platinum if you travel at least 3-4 times a year. Credits subsidize the cost of the card and customer service is best in class.
