NYSCA supports the creation of new work by New York State artists through artist-initiated projects across a wide range of areas. Artists at any career stage are welcome to apply. Our Support for Artists grant opportunity offers creative grants in the following artistic areas:

These grants are administered by Arts Services Inc. (ASI) and funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). For 2023, there will be two application deadlines for the 2023 grant cycle: Application deadline December 5, 2022 for projects occurring between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
