For those who don’t know - in 1974, Club Fugazi became home to Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon. A wild and wonderful, topical spoof of celebrities, politicians, and newsmakers, the show was known for its outrageous hats, towering anywhere from 4 to 14 feet above the performers’ heads.
Beach Blanket Babylon does not offer on-site parking. The closest parking is at 1636 Powell St SF. See more here.
Where do I park? How much does it cost? Do they validate parking? Is there handicapped parking? There are two parking lots on Green St. both with pay kiosks, two parking lots around the corner on Powell St. (valet) and two parking garages around the block on Vallejo St. We do not validate for parking.
