In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction.
The bar examination is administered twice per year, on the last consecutive Tuesday and Wednesday each February and July. 3 kwi 2023 · The Application for Admission must be filed with the Appellate Division Department as indicated on the Notice of Certification. A copy of the Notice of Certification must be filed along with the completed Application for Admission.
The following official forms, available on each Appellate Division’s website, are required to complete an application: an application for admission questionnaire, good moral character affirmations, employment affirmations, and law school certificates.
