1 maj 2024 · The Local Climatological Data Version 2 (LCDv2) summaries provide a monthly synopses of climatic values for individual weather stations. LCDv2 supersedes the original LCD (v1) product, and contains identical data plus additional elements and stations.
Use the Climate->Local link (on the left sidebar of most of our web pages) to view current climate products. Those products include the Daily Climate Report (CLI), Preliminary Climatology Data (CF6), Record Event Report (RER), Monthly Weather Summary (CLM) and the Regional Summary (RTP).
Local Climatological Data (LCD) is only available for stations and locations within the United States and its territories. Select the state or territory, location, and time to view specific data. Click the station name to view details or click "ADD TO CART" to order that station's data.
Local Climatological Data is a monthly summary consisting of daily extremes and averages of temperature, departures from normal, average dew point and wet bulb temperatures, degree days, significant weather, precipitation, snowfall, snow depth, station and sea level pressure, and average and extreme wind speeds for U.S. stations since 2005.
Daily GHCN summaries answer questions such as, what were the high and low temperatures at a station on a specific day; how much did it rain last Wednesday; or how much snow was on the ground on a recent date?
Under Select Weather Observation Type/Dataset, select Daily Summaries. Under Select Data Range, click the calendar icon and select dates on the Start and End calendars to reflect your dates of interest. Then click APPLY. Under the Search for dropdown, select ZIP codes.
