1 maj 2024 · The Local Climatological Data Version 2 (LCDv2) summaries provide a monthly synopses of climatic values for individual weather stations. LCDv2 supersedes the original LCD (v1) product, and contains identical data plus additional elements and stations.
1 kwi 2015 · NOAA’s NWS implemented the new Local Climate Analysis Tool (LCAT) on 1 July 2013. The tool supports the delivery of climate services by quickly providing information to help with climate-sensitive decisions and to facilitate the development of local climate studies and assessments.

The NWS collects snow data from a network of observers at select Primary Local Climatological Data (PLCD) sites which are generally located at airport locations.
