fTPM fix worked for me to make Windows freezes for a 5-6 sec instead of complete freeze and then restarting PC via button on the case. Complete fix for me is: installing another video codec pack and removing existing K-lite codec pack.

25 paź 2023 · A couple months after installing the system, I started having random freezing issues. These occurred just after exiting a game, or just in random. The system never recovers from this freeze, only resetting from the motherboard helps.
I found out that now when I try to install the game from scratch onto my 960 EVO, it would freeze the PC. I made sure all M.2 settings in the BIOS (running latest BIOS from Asus) are correct. I even unplugged my SATA drives from Slots 1, 5, and 6 and it didn't fix anything.

I checked task manager right before it completely locked up and it shows that my SSD is at 100% usage with 0 transfer rate. This causes a hard freeze about 98% of the time and results in a BSOD MAYBE 2% of the time. I have tried so many things to fix this over the last year or so.
