The other difference is the serial number for the 2017 starts with 03 while the serial number for the 2019 Pro starts with 13. Then there is another number on the right side just above the serial number and to the left of what looks to be a barcode that is different between the two.
2017 vs 2019 key differences? So, I have the 2019 pro version but just bought a cheap 2nd hand 2017 16 GB version. Aside from the upscaling feature and the different remote, are there any more differences in the spec/capabilities, etc.?
2017 models are widely available for £80 here but the pro moves into £120 plus bidding wars territory. 2019 brings Dolby Vision, AI upscaling, Atmos to Netflix, 25% faster CPU, dolby audio processing for better compatibility with older AVR's that do not support Dolby Digital +. Great question... With that How about the 2015 to 2019 model.
