Pinning Ceremony. The Pinning Ceremony occurs at the end of a student’s program in a school of nursing and signifies the completion of this level of education and official initiation into the profession. In most instances, this is separate from the school graduation ceremony.
Clothing can be neither skin‐tight (form‐fitting) nor excessively baggy. No pants may be worn seated below the normal waistline. Denim (such as jeans), shorts, tee shirts, flip‐flops, or tennis shoes are not permitted. No hats or head dresses may be worn unless prior written approval received.
