5 sie 2022 · There are several other posts across the various BMW forums that report issues with the front/rear cross traffic alert. I double checked my cross traffic was turned on and while I was there I turned back on the PDC intervention which I had turned off for some reason when I first got the car.
14 lut 2024 · As a recently new BMW owner (Leased 2024 X1 M35i), I'm so disappointed with the rear cross traffic alert system. It system just does not work! I traded in my beloved 2020 Cadillac XT4 which could sense and indicates warnings of vehicles approaching from the rear 4 to 5 houses away.
What I've found best easily activates the rear cross traffic warning is being in a parking lot with 90* spaces and starting to back up while a car is approaching you. If your car detects an impending collision you will see a small red flashing on the side of the rear view camera that the vehicle is coming from.
12 wrz 2021 · 2021 X5 rear cross traffic alert gives me nothing. Dealer checked it out and said it is working. My wife's Toyota will start yelling if a car is within a half block when backing, but I get nothing. Is this a common problem or do I need to push the dealer to do something?
