Northport is the northern most village in the Leelanau Peninsula, dating back to 1849. Being located on the shore of Grand Traverse Bay, the village of Northport has over two miles of water frontage with an incredible marina.
Twelve miles away is Leland, and historic Fishtown. Just two miles north is the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, and Leelanau State Park, complete with campground, hiking trails, and a lighthouse. Northport is probably the best kept secret on the peninsula.
