New York City Ballet (NYCB) is a ballet company founded in 1948 by choreographer George Balanchine [1] and Lincoln Kirstein. [2] Balanchine and Jerome Robbins are considered the founding choreographers of the company.
New York City Ballet's home is in the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, between West 62nd and 65th Streets and Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. The Box Office is located in the lobby of the theater.
