A bit late, but after trying both Nolvus and Vagabond, here are my thoughts: Visuals - Nolvus looks good, but Vagabond looks significantly better in all areas. It has much more widespread Parallax support, the grass look far better, and cities look either as good as Nolvus or slightly better.
