An 80-10 end-fed half-wave antenna can be a very good performing part of an HF station. But its performance depends heavily on a well-designed and carefully constructed 49:1 unun, which matches the long wire impedance to within tuning range of operation. But the perfor-mance of an end-fed antenna is also very dependent on height above ground.

This design is excellent for matching both long and short length wire antennas for multiband use. Allows the internal tuner of most rigs to tune remotely mounted single wire antennas.
DIY. Worthwhile projects you can build on your own. The inverted-L Rybakov 806 antenna. The what? I’ve been looking for a good inverted-L antenna design that I could build, and hap-pened upon this version, which seems to have not only operator testimonials but technical data to support them.
In this 1:9 UnUn Manual, you will be helped step by step in the construction of the complete HF Kits 1:9 UnUn. Power max 600 Watts of PEP.
Heavy duty 5kW, 4:1 Unun designed for use with wire verticals, long wires and multiband monopole verticals. Utilizes stacked cores to deliver efficient broadband performance and high power rating across all HF frequencies. Works well with both internal transceiver and external antenna tuners.
After many requests we have created a compact, special balun for single band loop (Sky loop or Delta loop) antennas. The CB-2.25-1500 is a CUBE(TM) enclosure containing a multi-core, broadband 2:25 impedance transformer (50 ohm coax input to 112.5 ohm balanced output) in series with a 1:1 current balun for extra common mode current choking to keep RF current off the outside of the coax braid ...
