Investigate various datasets related to the ocean, atmosphere, land, cryosphere, and climate and view them as animations over weeks, months, or years.
NCEI's Map Viewer Application presents a map interface to help users find, preview, and download climate and weather data. Users can also access some data through an ordering system: users submit their order and receive a link to download the requested data via email.

The data portal provides visualization of CoastWatch oceanographic satellite data. Layers (from different dates) can be viewed simultaneously and the associated data file (NetCDF) downloaded for local analysis. The portal has a number of useful features.
