REAL ID is the new federal requirement for state-issued driver licenses and non-driver IDs to help prevent fraudulent identification.
If you are not a U.S. citizen and have recently moved to New Jersey, you can transfer your out-of-country license for a standard New Jersey license with the required documents or a Real ID with the required documents.
