An appointment is needed to take a road test. You may schedule your road test online at this link. You may also schedule an appointment at a driver testing center. A Safety Specialist (Examiner) will accompany you while driving in an off-road testing area or on a public road course.
CDL Skills Test. All CDL Applicants are required to take the CDL Skills Test, otherwise known as the road test. This test requires an appointment. You can take your CDL Skills Test 14 days after you pass your knowledge test, unless this requirement is waived.

If your vehicle is not in working order, you will not be allowed to take the test. In the vehicle used for the test, the instructor must have access to the foot brake or parking brake.
10 lut 2022 · You are required to possess the CLP for 14 days and complete applicable entry-level driver training to be eligible to take the CDL skills test. You must pass all 3 parts of the Skills Test: the Vehicle Inspection Test, the Basic Controls Test, and the Road Test.
