Customers who wish to have updated official MVC credentials instead of a confirmation letter that reflects an address change may do so by ordering a duplicate online. (Updated licenses are $11.00 and updated registration documents are $5.00. Four year registration documents are $11.00.)

You can change your address on your MVC records either online, by phone, or in person at a MVC office. If you'd like a new driver's license/ID card, vehicle registration, or title certificate showing your new address, you'll need to apply for duplicates.

If the address printed on your Driver License, Identification Card or other correspondence mailed from the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission is not your current mailing address, do not log in. You must change your address with the Commission before requesting a User Identification Number.
