5 sie 2007 · I ordered a nitro buggy from NitroRCX online for my son's birthday. I wanted to introduce him to the hobby. I received the order and it was in good condition but spent over 2 months in trying to get it started and tuned. Their support was no help and basically did nothing to try and assist me.
Is NitroRCX safe to buy from? I have an ExceedRC Maxstone 5 that I need to get parts for, but the only place parts are sold is NitroRCX. I read on a few old forums that they had terrible customer service and had a history of losing shipments, although those were from about 10 years ago. Do you guys have any experience with them?

Both Yokomo and Awesomatix have today issued warnings on their social media after fake websites ( Yokomo-shop. com / rcawesomatix . com ) offering heavily discounted prices on products came to their attention.
Nitro is definitely not dying just becoming more niche. 1/8 scale buggy and truggy racing is strong. Electric has taken over the basher scene but there are a few solid nitro options, hpi savage, usa1, revo.
