7 lut 2015 · I have a 2002 qx4 with a consistent P1140 code. The code pops up as soon as the engine is on, and no sooner do I clear it then it comes right back up again. I have extensive wiring tech background and have even pulled the engine harness and gone through it extensively.
24 wrz 2010 · I took it to a shop, and the error code was P1140. After consulting the factory manual, it appears that the "Intake valve timing control position sensor" or "Intake valve timing control position solenoid" needs to be replaced.
3 mar 2018 · The code could be because the ecu isn't getting a signal, or a weak signal, from the sensor. Could be a bad ground, mouse chewed a wire etc. In that case it doesn't matter what you plug in there, it won't work.

19 sty 2014 · The part # for my nissan recall is 23731-4M528 which includes 3 sensors (Crankshaft Position Sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor and a Variable Timing Control Sensor). I've replaced the first two and still get the code.
