The Funeral Grant provides financial assistance for the burial expenses of the deceased. It is paid on the death of an insured person, invalidity, or age pensioner, or his/ or her spouse or a dependent child. Any person who has been insured with the NIS for at least twenty-six (26) weeks qualifies for this grant.
