Must have active viatical settlement broker license or equivalent in resident state. Complete a Federal criminal background check (FBI) and have results sent directly to the Ohio Department of Insurance. Complete a State of Ohio criminal background check (BCI). Contact BCI for instructions at 1-877-224-0043 and request fingerprint packet.
The Producer Database (PDB) is a central repository of producer licensing information updated on a timely basis by participating state insurance departments. Currently, the PDB includes information from all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
Identify Licensee. The Identify Licensee page is used to sign in as an Individual or Business Entity licensee, using information that is verified against the licensee information contained in the Producer Database (PDB).
