1 maj 2020 · PROBLEM. Basically, what this boils down to, is that after updating either the official Nintendo firmware, or updating Atmosphere/Deep Sea to the newest release available, some titles refuse to boot with a "The software was closed due to an error" message, or a black screen on boot.

From Tinfoil's site, you should have grabbed the "Self-Installer" build -- not the "Applet Mode" or "NSP" equivalents; the folder said download should contain is one named "tinfoil" containing "tinfoil.nro" among other things and you'll want to put it directly in the "switch" folder on your Switch's SD Card.
There could be an issue with your hekate_ipl.ini file. Find the file inside the bootloader folder on your SD card. Open hekate_ipl.ini and replace fss0=atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin with fss0=atmosphere/package3 and then save the file. Restart your Switch and pray to God that it works. 1. Reply.
