This is an image photographed with Nikon Z5, ftz adaptor with a Sigma 28-70mm, F.28 lens. This image was manually focused! The lens is an older sigma and autofocus doesn't work with this camera.
7 gru 2023 · Z5 Nikon with a FTZ II Adaptor. I have a AF P Nikkor 18-55 ,AF P Nikkor 70-300, Sigma 600 Telephoto. My Camera does not seem to be auto focusing with the adaptor. I'm not sure if it's the adaptor of if the lenses aren't working. Trying to trouble shoot it.
Taken with my new Z5 using the FTZ adapter and Nikkor 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Was in a stadium with low light. ♂️
25 wrz 2019 · My FTZ is now going back to Nikon for repair. I have no Tamron lens, but I have mounted my Sigma 35mm/f1.4 Art on my FTZ and Z6 without any issues. Apparently it is the older AF-S lenses such as that 28-70mm/f2.8 and 80-200mm/f2.8 that may cause problems.
6 sie 2019 · #1. My FTZ adapter has become faulty. When I attach ANY DX or FX Nikon lens via the FTZ two things occur. I get an error message on my camera. At the same time the camera starts taking shots by itself and doesn't stop until I turn the camera off.

27 sie 2020 · Number three, an FTZ adapter with AF-D support helps Nikon transition its F-Mount user base into Z. Orphaning AF-D lenses has only served to p*ss off many longtime Nikonistas. But sure, the AF-D aren’t made for video.
