25 wrz 2019 · My FTZ is now going back to Nikon for repair. I have no Tamron lens, but I have mounted my Sigma 35mm/f1.4 Art on my FTZ and Z6 without any issues. Apparently it is the older AF-S lenses such as that 28-70mm/f2.8 and 80-200mm/f2.8 that may cause problems.

20 cze 2021 · I just picked up a z5 and the 50mm 1.8 s. I have the latest firmware. When I shoot with continuous auto focus with burst mode, or even single shot, I have a really poor keeper rate. I have af-c set to focus priority and it still seems like only about half my photos are in focus. Even tested it with a stationary subject.

I just got a new Z5 with FTZ a few days ago. I'm adapting an AF-S 50mm f/1.4, and an AF-S 35mm f/1.8. I've noticed that when I have it in AF-C mode for both lenses, the camera rarely stops micro-adjusting the focus, even if the thing I am focusing on is not moving.
I use both the Nikon FTZ and the Fringer EF to Z (for Canon lenses) adapters. Both of them work equally well. All lenses I've tried (both EF and F mounts) work well, just like the native Z lenses. I bought an F mount lens for my Z7 II, knowing that the FTZ basically gives you near native performance.
