12 wrz 2023 · When using a lens with vr and no switch or a lens with no vr the in body switch turns it either on or off. There is no always on you can’t control. Yes, the VR menu is grayed out on this lens because it has a VR switch.

20 wrz 2020 · That is the issue I'm having with my 300mm f/4 PF VR lens. The image jumps inside the viewfinder after every shutter actuation. Does the lens have Sport VR (or Active VR)? If so, try the other VR mode and see if there is a difference. My VR issue only affects ONE of the VR modes.

This standardized test tries to give you a sense of how well the stabilization systems work in identical circumstances. It takes great pictures, but one thing I noticed immediately is that it makes a buzzing or humming noise when focusing. The noise is definitely related to Vibration Reduction - if I turn off VR using the switch on the lens, the noise stops immediately.
12 lut 2018 · While watching a Steve Perry video on the Nikon 300mm f/4 PF, he mentioned there was a service advisory issued for the early copies of the lens. Supposedly when mounted on the D8xx bodies, there is a problem when the VR is engaged at slower shutter speeds causing the images to be a little blurry.
15 lut 2021 · To prevent issues with lens creep, Nikon provided a zoom lock on the lens exterior, similar to the ones on both 18-200mm and 28-300mm lenses. NIKON D800E + 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 @ 22mm, ISO 50, 16/10, f/8.0. Having a similar optical design as the 28-300mm and the 18-200mm lenses, the Nikon 18-300mm has retained a similar physical appearance as well.
