16 lut 2024 · Make sure under the preference,” system updates “you have the “Install system data files and security updates checked off. That will automatically update. I’m pretty sure that’s how RAW is updated.This is separate from the MacOS updates.
26 cze 2023 · It appears that the Nikon z9 Raw files, don't show a preview on the latest Macos Monterery, or even under Ventura 13.4.1. I can preview CR3 (Canon) Files, or CR2, as well as Sony RAW files, like the a7RIV.
8 mar 2019 · Before Steve died, there was a standalone Apple Digital Camera Raw updater you could run to get new raw file support on any system. They now force you into the next OS for support of new raw files. YOU NEED AN OS UPGRADE (and possibly new computer) TO SUPPORT AN UPDATE TO A RAW FILE!?
I recently bought a Nikon Zf and found out that imported RAW images (.NEF) files aren't recognized by macOS so peeking at their content from the browser doesn't work. . NEF needs to be converted to .DNG in order to be processed in Photomator for example.
