25 cze 2022 · I just need some software that will either view, open, or convert my 8K N-RAW 60P High Quality videos created with the Nikon Z9, so I can edit natively and directly these 8K files on my Mac. As it stands right now, I can't even preview or view the 8K N-RAW video files to check out the quality at 8K.

21 lut 2023 · You can view NEF files on Windows 10 with Windows Photos Gallery. You can open RAW files on Windows 8 and Windows 7 after installing the RAW image extension too. There is also an official NEF codec in the Nikon download center. The latest version is NEF codec 1.31.0.
The simple answer is yes – NEF is the file extension used by Nikon digital DSLR and mirrorless cameras for their RAW image files. Like the other RAW types, NEF contains all the details seen by the camera sensor and stored on the memory card when the photo was captured.
