6 sty 2008 · For those not to deep into Nikon's history, these lenses had been produced between 1977-1982, just before the Ai/AiS 400mm/5.6 IF-ED came to market. According to Roland Vink's (RVink) website, only 808 lenses had been manufactured (current status). Bjorn Roslett gave this lens a rating of 4.5 (vs 4 for the IF-ED version). Some links:

The Nikkor AF-D 28mm f/1.4 is an FX lens, however in this review we'll have a look at how the lens performs on our current DX test camera, the Nikon D7000. On DX its field of view is equivalent to a 42mm lens, so it leaves its original scope (wide angle) and behaves almost like a normal prime.
