19 lip 2010 · I've got 2 batteries for the D300, both EN EL3e's, and as I was changing batteries yesterday I noticed the 'fresh' battery had no charge. It had been fully charged and in my bag for about 4 weeks, a bit longer than the usual time.
It's possible for batteries to reverse charge when depleted. There's a tiny bit of juice left but with the wrong polarity and the charger won't recognize them. There's techniques to resolve this but you'll need to look that up yourself and see if you're comfortable doing it.
23 mar 2009 · I put the battery in the camera and in showed only 3 bars of charge (41% full). I took a few pictures until the charge went down to two bars (30% full). Then, I put the battery in the charger, the orange light blinked for a while and then went off again.
6 sty 2007 · I received a replacement battery En-EL3e - # 5X21A from NIKON for my D70 and it looks exactly like the one on the left. I also took a look at an EN-EL3 that was not affected by the recall and that one has the same markings as the new battery, except for the hologram.
16 kwi 2021 · Most of the time this is why Li based rechargeables show 0 volts. Just let them in the charger for a couple of hours, and they might start charging normally. It takes a while, so take patience, just let the battery pack in the charger and wait for it to start taking charge.
6 wrz 2008 · replace it under my camera warranty. That's good. One suggestion for the future: don't have "normal" and "spare" batteries. It's better to continually rotate them so each battery gets subjected to regular discharge and recharge cycles. Li-Ion batteries do not like being stored, especially if they have only a low charge to start with.
